Crafters are the skilled artisans of Pern. For every need, there is a Crafter, a trained professional, who is able to advise, teach, and solve problems. The Harper's oversee music, teaching, history, politics and archiving. The Healers take care of the sick and injured, prepare lotions and balms, and are involved with the hygiene of the population. Smiths create mechanical items of need, such as Flamethrowers, Starsmiths watch the heavens and teach navigation. Vintners brew wine and beers, and Woodsmiths oversee the forests, prepare wood and make items of furniture. Weavers and Tailors make furnishings and clothes, and Tanners prepare leather for straps, saddles, and flying leathers. Bakers see to the nutrition of the population, and introduce new ways of cooking, whereas the farmers oversee the crops, testing soil and recommending various harvests. Beastcrafters look after the health of animals, and see to effective breeding programs for improving the livestock. Seacraft navigate the seas, transporting items from one continent to another, and providing food from the oceans.
Crafts contribute their services, skills and goods to the Weyr that protects them, in return for protection against Threadfall, as well as to the Holds of Pern, from which they receive food, and raw materials in order to sustain their Crafthalls.

Each Crafthall has a CraftMaster, the person in charge of the Craft, the CraftSecond, or second in command, and generally an Apprentice Master who teaches the new members of the Craft.
Harper Craft: The Harpers have many strings to their bow. They are the teachers and the musicians of pern. They also carry out the function of communication (through the Drum Heights at each Hold) and are the information intelligence gatherers. The MasterHarper carries out the function of training and posting Harpers in all of the Holds of Pern, both major and minor. He is also expected to compose songs and Ballads for important occasions and to commemorate important events. A specialisation of the Harpers are the Archivists, who copy the Records and musical scores. Primary Hall at Fort Hold.
Smith Craft: The Smiths are (primarily) metal workers and mechanical experts. They are the people who make flamethrowers with which to fight Threadfall, who make the farming equipment, and so on. They are innovators, developing equipment to suit Pern's needs and requirements. Primary Hall at Telgar Hold.
Fish Craft: The fishermen of Pern, they are the boat sailors and, presumably the shipbuilders as well (apart from the metalwork, provided by the Smiths). Primary Hall at Tillek Hold.
Beast Craft: These are the primary and specialist animal breeders and healers. However, many Holds have their own herdmen as well. Primary Hall at Keroon Hold.
Weaver Craft: These are the people who create clothes and tapestries. An example of a Master Weaver's work is mentioned in Dragonflight with the tapestry from Ruatha. Primary Weaver Hall is at Southern Boll Hold.
Farm Craft: The farmers are the specialist food growers on Pern, however, many/most Holders do their own farming, but the farm craft develops new types of grain. Primary Farm Craft Hall is at Nerat Hold
Mine Craft: The miners are the ones who seek out and mine from Pern the coal (usually referred to as Cromcoal), metal ores, and gemstones for the Pernese. Primary Craft Hall is at Crom Hold.
Healer Craft: The healers are few and far between as qualified Healers, but most Holds and Weyrs have several people (mainly women) proficient at healing, for example: Manora at Benden Weyr, Mavi at Half-Circle Sea Hold, and Nerilka at Fort Hold. The healing done on Pern involves only up to minor surgery - prior to AIVAS. Primary Hall at Fort Hold.
Tanner Craft: The tanners are those who make raw animal hides into a useable commodity, for writing, clothes and flying gear. Primary Craft Hall at Ista Hold.
Wine Craft: The wine craft are very easily described by the title, they are the vintners of Pern. Wine is made in various places around Pern, and each is mentioned, but the one which is clearly preferred is Benden wine. There is no official primary Craft Hall for the vintners, but considering the great preference for Benden wine, then that is where I would assume if any it is there.
Traders: The traders are unlike all other crafts on Pern, for by virtue of their nomadic ways, then they do not settle in any one place for long. Traders do also seem to develop along family lines, so entire families often make up a trade caravan. There can be no primary Craft Hall for the traders, and I would also assume that there is no MasterTrader either.
Starsmith Craft: The StarCraft was a recent offshoot of the SmithCraft, formed in the Ninth Pass by Wansor, a former GlassSmith. After the GlassSmith was assigned the distance viewer and a small-seer retrieved from Benden Weyr by MasterSmith Fandarel, the implications of the distance-viewer were soon discovered. Shortly thereafter the project of charting the skies around Pern was started. During this time, a distance-viewer was also trained on the Red Star. Studies of that world are ongoing, and of great interest to many including the dragonriders.( soucon.silvertree.org/area/crafts/crafts/starsmith.html 0
Since I don't know where Starsmith hall is located until further notice it's in Ruatha.
All information (unless otherwise noter) was taken for Roedin of Pern.
